However if you love the beautiful rich colours of hardwood then you have a good range of colours to pick from honey coloured to rich reds to dark reds.
Plan the deck size with the future in mind
Make sure your deck can hold a party. If you build a deck to hold two chairs and one cup of coffee it may not add value to your home but if you add the space of a room you extend the use of your home by adding valuable floor space. So plan your deck and have it really for summer fun or have it ready for that family Christmas dinner.
