Ceramic Tile Cutter

An important part of ceramic tiling is the ability to cut the ceramic tiles to size. Using a ceramic tile cutter is a fast and effective way of cutting tiles while laying. The cutters use a small tungsten carbide wheel, which sores the ceramic tile surface and then you bring the handle down to apply pressure on each side of the tile cut which snaps the tile. As long as you want to make straight cuts they can mostly done on a ceramic tile cutter.

Advantages:

• Fast and clean
• Your straight cuts can be cut at different degrees For example 90deg. , and 45deg.
• They are come in large sizes to accommodate large tiles

Disadvantages:

• Can only cut straight lines
• Cannot cut less than 10-15mm off the edge of a tile.
